Lesbians Who Tech (New York Summit 2024)

CGLCC is pleased to partner with Lesbians Who Tech for the New York Summit happening this year in New York City, September 17-20, 2024: an experience and neighborhood takeover with tech, business and media leaders from all over the US. 

The organization Lesbians Who Tech builds pathways for mid-senior women, women of color, and nonbinary leaders in technology, media, and business to have more economic power and access to jobs and leadership roles within all business, media, and technology areas. 
 
Lesbians Who Tech & Allies Summit assembles accomplished tech professionals from around the globe in a forum focused on technology trends and leadership development. This event intersects the unique challenges faced by individuals and would provide an empowering space for career growth. The Summit is known for its high-quality content and career programming. 
 
Quick facts about Summit: 

• Gathers top women and nonbinary leaders in business and technology. 
• The only event in the world that also centers content for LGBTQ women. 
• Open opportunity to apply for speaking engagements.   
• Content covering GenerativeAI, The Future of Work, Marketing Automation, CyberSecurity, Climate Innovation, Ethical AI, BioTech, SportsTech, and much more.

Who should participate? 

• Mid-senior level women, women of color, and nonbinary leaders in technology, media, and business should attend the summit. 
• C-suite executives and decision makers in tech, finance, media, and business. 
• Allies who want to learn top trends in business, tech, and innovation are also encouraged to attend. 
• Additionally, cultural diversity, equity, and inclusion professionals, leaders, influencers, and change makers.

Estimated costs: 

You could be eligible for funding support from CGLCC + CanExport in the amount of: 

• 50% Travel Airfare: One round trip flight 
• 50% Accommodation and Per diem: Budgeted amount is 50% of 600$ per day. 
• 50% Local Transit Costs 

You MUST register for CGLCC first to receive the special discount booking code and to be part of the CAD delegation; registration costs will be reduced by 50% or greater!  

Do I Have to Be a Lesbian to Join? 

No — One of the best things about our community is its diversity. Our 100,000 members are LGBTQ women, nonbinary, trans, and gender nonconforming.  

We also have many other intersecting identities when it comes to race, ethnicity, ability, age, and more. We work together to promote the visibility and inclusion of women, women of color, and nonbinary leaders in technology.
